QUEER MEDIA officially registers its trademark in Spain

The QUEER MEDIA association proudly announces that the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) has officially granted its national trademark — a key step in consolidating its identity and its cultural and media projects.

File M4305657 was granted without oppositions or objections, confirming the validity and distinctiveness of the mark. The decision was officially published on 6 February 2026, and the registration is fully in force in class 41, covering the organisation of cultural and artistic activities.

The trademark is protected for ten years from the filing date, 20 February 2025, and can be renewed for successive periods.

This institutional recognition is an important milestone for the association. The official registration strengthens the identity of QUEER MEDIA as an independent cultural platform dedicated to making the talent, stories and voices of the LGBTIQ+ community and its allies visible.

Since its founding, QUEER MEDIA has driven projects that connect art, media and cultural activism: exhibitions, editorial content, audiovisual initiatives and meeting spaces for diverse creators and audiences. Legal protection of the brand opens a new stage of growth, partnerships and expansion of its initiatives in Spain and internationally.

With this registration, QUEER MEDIA consolidates its presence as a cultural project with a public vocation, an identity of its own and a firm commitment to diversity, creativity and freedom of expression.
